Terms
Simple terms for a personal tool.
Effective November 2, 2026
These terms cover your use of WinMail, a personal email app for Mac, iPhone, and iPad, and this information website.
Using WinMail
WinMail is intended for personal email use. You are responsible for your email account, the actions you choose to take, and following the terms that apply to your email provider, Apple, and Google as applicable.
Gmail features depend on the permissions you grant and on Google’s services. IMAP and SMTP features depend on your email provider’s server configuration and service. You can review and revoke WinMail’s Google access in your Google Account settings. Removing an account in WinMail removes its local data and stored credentials; for Gmail, WinMail also attempts to revoke its Google token, while for IMAP it deletes the saved password from Keychain without revoking it with the provider. This does not guarantee that every copy, action record, iCloud item, or backup is erased.
Optional AI assistance
On-device AI assistance can help with mail sorting, summaries, and Ask. AI output may be incomplete or incorrect. Review it yourself and make your own decisions about what to send or change in your email account.
Availability
WinMail and the services it connects to may change or become unavailable. This page does not promise uninterrupted service, a particular feature set, or a specific price or future billing arrangement.
Independent product
WinMail is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Gmail and Google are trademarks of Google LLC.
